Simon Dix, co-founder of DX Compliance

This summer, DX Compliance offered our first-ever structured internship program at our Abu Dhabi office. As the United Arab Emirates continue to solidify its reputation as a major international hub for business and innovation, it is essential for incoming young professionals to be acquainted start-up culture that DX Compliance and Hub71 have to offer.

In our inaugural year, DX Compliance has recruited three students with exceptional talent from IDC Herzliya Adelson School of Entrepreneurship thanks to Dar Zellinger and Yossi Maaravi.

Hear from our three interns below:

Eden: Product Development Intern

My name is Eden Shoval, I am 26 years old from Israel. I am in my third year studying Business and Entrepreneurship and currently working as a compliance auditor at 888 Holdings PLC.

I am interning at DX Compliance as a Product Analyst, working on the integration of the core product with other financial solutions.

I am very excited to take part in this internship and learn about the product team’s functionality and the required processes in their work. My goals for this internship are to acquire new relevant skills for a future product manager and expand my knowledge in this field and in the fin-tech sphere in general!

Sergio: Business Development Intern

Hello, my name is Sérgio Wilder Vaie! I am 20 years old from São Paulo, Brazil, currently studying Business and Entrepreneurship at IDC Herzliya in Israel.

This summer, I am working as a business development intern at DX Compliance alongside the marketing and sales teams.

Through interning at DX Compliance, I want to learn more about marketing and sales which I like a lot and see myself working in later down the line! My current experience here has been unbelievable: making new friends at work, meeting important people in the office at Hub 71, and most importantly – exchanging cultural knowledge with people all around the world here.

Regarding work, I have been learning new things, developing new skills, and most importantly – being able to explore a broad range of expertise within the company, and consequently understanding what I like and what I do not.

Ron: Product Development Intern

I am Ron Goldberg, I am 21 years old born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium.

I just finished my second year of studying Business and Entrepreneurship at IDC in Herzliyah, Israel. I am currently working for DX Compliance as a business development and product analyst intern.

So far, my experience has been amazing – especially my colleagues and the work environment here at Hub 71 which will play a key role soon when I eventually start my professional career.

Here at DX Compliance, I was assigned to take part in the development of a new product called Check AML. We have already developed the core product which is up and running! My responsibility is to deliver different use cases that developers need to develop this new product, and to also analyse the product to implement additional features.

At DX Compliance, we love working with students as they bring in new perspectives into the work we do! As a young start-up, we are continuously learning how to attract and retain up-and-coming talents in the fin-tech sphere which we believe are important in fostering a great working environment and developing an exceptional product.

We love working with bright and young minds – and are always on the lookout for new talent! If you would like to collaborate with DX Compliance, please shoot us an email at talent@dxcompliance.com or connect with our founders Simon Dix or Daniel Doerr over on LinkedIn: don’t worry, we don’t bite!
