DX Compliance: 1st Lunch and Learn Event

We at DX Compliance started a new series of events called Lunch and Learn, where we invite compliance professionals to come together and share their knowledge, expertise and experience in AML, risk, and compliance. It was our first step in bringing industry experts together and steadily establishing a community here in the UAE.

Our first exclusive “Lunch and Learn” event was in-person and took place on 9th February 2022 at Hub71, Abu Dhabi. Through this networking event, compliance & risk professionals uncovered the latest developments from the world of anti-financial crime and AML in the UAE and globally.

Our CEO and co-founder of DX Compliance Simon Dix hosted and moderated the event covering the topics below as the kick starter for our first “Lunch and Learn”:

The UAE has been working hard as a country to tackle issues stemming from the FATF mutual evaluation, and it can be seen and heard in the concerns of the senior compliance colleagues across a wide range of companies, providing a space to discuss the recent legislative changes and open up for people to share both what has worked and what has not worked for them as an organization.
